Our first pledge is to curate with integrity. Sustaining the career of an up-and-coming artist is a profound joy in itself. Therefore, every piece on this platform, whether from an emerging voice or an established master, is chosen not for its commodity but for its capacity to spark joy and continue its story with you.
On a deeper, personal level, my pledge is one of gratitude. I resonate with the words of Louise Bourgeois: “I have been to hell and back. And let me tell you, it was wonderful.”
Over my life, I have been fortunate to cross paths with people who have accompanied me, listening and providing a helping hand. The Art of Joy is also about sharing this strength. As a coach, I pledge to pay this support forward by offering pro-bono sessions to victims of domestic violence, helping them reconnect with their own story and find their own path to joy.
