A large and elegant pique-fleurs (or flower frog) designed by Charles Graffart for the celebrated Val Saint Lambert crystal house. The piece features a highly decorative, deeply cut crystal design in a striking combination of purple and clear glass. Graffart's design work helped define the aesthetic of the manufacturer in the mid-20th century.

The sheer complexity of the cut crystal, especially in the vibrant purple colour, gives this piece a commanding and luminous emotional charge.
